Dubai International Racing Carnival Available on TwinSpires

TwinSpires is offering the full allotment of this year's Dubai International Racing Carnival.

The 2008 Dubai International Racing Carnival runs from January 17 to March 6. The DIRC attracts some of the finest horses from all around the world to compete for some of the US$31 million on offer. This season's renewal will begin on January 17 2008, and will build on the success of last years DIRC, which was heralded as a truly groundbreaking event, where the quality and international representation soared beyond all expectations. A record number of DIRC graduates competed on Dubai World Cup night, including Asiatic Boy, the emphatic winner of the UAE Derby, and the carnival was also notable for India and Australia's landmark wins, as well as seeing Japan saddle its first runners in the UAE - outside the Dubai World Cup meeting itself.
