TwinSpires.com will offer its players a pair of online opportunities over the next two weeks to sharpen their handicapping skills and earn the $10,000 buy-in fee for the first Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge Handicapping Tournament ("BCBC") during the two-day Breeders' Cup World Championships on Nov. 6-7 at Santa Anita Park.

A pair of TwinSpires.com online satellite handicapping tournaments, scheduled on consecutive Saturdays on Sept. 19 and 26, will each offer at least one top prize of $10,500 that would cover the $10,000 buy-in required for participation in the Breeders' Cup tournament and an additional $500 in cash. Each TwinSpires.com tournament requires a $100 individual buy-in and is restricted to TwinSpires.com account holders. Each TwinSpires.com member can purchase up to three entries in both tournaments.

The number of top prizes awarded in each of the TwinSpires.com online tournaments will be determined by the tournaments total of participating players. For every 105 entries to each tournament, TwinSpires.com will offer award one $10,500 top prize. So if there are 210 entries, two top prizes would be awarded, three would be offered if the number of players grows to 315, and so on.

In addition, TwinSpires.com will offer a secondary prize of an entry in TwinSpires.com's "25-Seat Guarantee" Las Vegas qualifying tournament on Nov. 21 for every three entries beyond 105 players in each tournament. The "25-Seat Guarantee" will offer 15 entries into the Daily Racing Form/National Thoroughbred Racing Association National Handicapping Championship and another 10 seats in Coast Casino's Horseplayer World Series.

The Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge features a top prize of $150,000 and offers six qualifying spots for the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship.
