Louisiana Derby Getaway Winner Selected

Horse owner Terry Brown was randomly selected from a pool of over 860 TwinSpires Players Thursday, Februrary 14th, 2008 in the first ever TwinSpires Louisiana Derby Getaway. The drawing was held after the 7th race at Fair Grounds Race Course and hosted by Jessica Pacheco.

Brown, a long time Thoroughbred owner, Twin Spires Club member, and Arlington Park fan, has been to locales around the globe, but will be making his first trip ever to the city of New Orleans for a VIP trip to this year's Louisiana Derby. As the winning entry, Brown wins a trip for two to the 2008 Louisiana Derby at Fair Grounds Race Course, March 8th, 2008 that includes airfare for two (via American Airlines) two Louisiana Derby tickets, a complimentary meal for two and one hotel room for two nights and $500 in cash.

With the busy Thoroughbred racing season underway at popular winter racing venues, including Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park, HorseRacing TV (HRTV) is providing racing fans with key, up-to-date information by unveiling a new, revamped website, available now via www.hrtv.com.

The redesigned site is both easy to navigate, as well as fan-friendly. Those visiting the site will be greeted by a bold, new home page, which offers a number of racing-related amenities, including "Up Next," which details that day's upcoming races, and the minutes to post for the corresponding races, daily entries, as well as a weekly racing calendar for tracks being carried by HRTV.

Fans wishing to see portions of HRTV's original programming, including "Inside Information" and "Against The Odds," may download through the "Clips and Highlights" link, which transports viewers to the HRTV page on youtube.com.

Racing fans will also be afforded the latest in happenings in Thoroughbred racing under the "Racing News" link.
