The TwinSpires Players' pool will be going after a $237,000+ Pick 6 carryover for Thursday's 11/17/11 card. The Players’ Pool will use its expert wagering strategies to work for you by offering a $25,000 (cap) pool. The Pool will utilize those funds to select the group tickets that the contributing members share proportionately. TwinSpires Players can jump into to the pool (pool opens for contributions Wednesday, November 16th) for as little as $10. Don’t get shut out! The Players’ Pool is designed to be educational and fun and in no way guarantees a winning wager.

Ed DeRosa - Ed is the Director of Marketing for Bloodstock Research Information Services (BRIS) and a lifelong Thoroughbred racing enthusiast and astute handicapper. Ed joined Churchill Downs Inc. following nine years as a writer and editor with Thoroughbred Times. Ed will serve as “Captain” of the Players’ Pool for all major events including, Breeders’ Cup, Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes and any other major multi-day carryover pools.
Jude Feld - Jude Feld began his horseracing career in 1978, making charts at Ellis Park. After a stint as assistant trainer, Jude took out his own trainer’s license in 1980. He has trained the winners of 23 stakes. Jude was also a racing publicist, including becoming a part of the Eclipse Award-winning team at HRRN. Jude has monitored morning workouts of Breeders’ Cup contenders for brisnet.com and his syndicate partners once hit the Pick Six seven days in a row in Southern California.
Dick Powell - is one of Brisnet.com's leading handicappers, providing Daily Selections for races at New York Racing Association tracks, and providing Big Event coverage with the popular Selections & Analysis with wagering strategies sheet. A resident of Upstate New York, Dick does work for Capital OTB where he worked as director of marketing from 1998-2000 and had worked in some capacity since 1988.
