Official TwinSpires Players' Pool Rules

The Players’ Pool will be capped at $75,000 for June 8th and 9th, 2012. No more contributions will be accepted after it reaches that threshold. The pool will wager the entire amount of total pool. The pool will go after the $1-million guaranteed Pick 6 & Pick 4 pools on Belmont Stakes day and Belmont Stakes wagers, including the Belmont Stakes Superfecta. Friday, June 8, the pool will go after the Pick 6 & Pick 4. Any winnings from Friday's wagers will NOT be used Saturday. Enter the pool by entering your account information and the amount of money you want to put into the pool. It will not appear as a tote wager from the wagering screen.
The pool will wager on Friday and Saturday June 8th and 9th.
Individual Players will be allowed to contribute a minimum of $10 (there is a $5,000 maximum individual contribution).
The amount of each Player's contribution will determine their percentage in the final total pool.
The pool will close when the $75,000 cap is reached. If it does not fill up completely, the pool will close on Fri, June 8th, 2012 at 9:00am ET/6:00am PT.
The Players' Pool selections will not be made available for viewing before the pool closes.
The Players' Pool selections will be made available prior to the first leg of the Pick 4/6.
Your percentage of winnings will be based on the amount of money in the Players' Pool.
The Players’ Pool is designed to be educational and fun and is no way guaranteed to make positive return. While the Players’ Pool has had success in the past, that is in no way an indication of future performance.
If any part of the official pool selections is scratched, then those funds will be returned as part of any winnings. Wagers containing scratched horses will continue without the scratched wagering interest.
Players contributing to the Players' Pool understand that contributions contains risk. Participants may lose all of their contribution.
Selections will not be modified after they have been posted.Winnings from the Players' Pool wagers will be executed no later than 3 days following the pool however best efforts will be made to ensure winnings are issued within 24 hours of the last wager.
100% of money contributed to the pool will be wagered. All wagers are subject to the same host track rules and takeout percentages as any other individual account wager. Players are responsible for any taxes that they may incur. Example: You put in the minimum $10 and the pool grows to $10,000. The experts have the lone Pick Six winner worth $1,000,000. Your winning percentage is 0.001 (10/10,000) of the total winning ticket worth $1,000,000. You would win $1,000 (0.001 X 1,000,000).
Churchill Downs, and any affiliated companies, subsidiaries and insurers are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic, unless caused by the negligence of TwinSpires, its affiliates, subsidiaries, or insurers.
In the event any portion of this Promotion is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, hackers or other causes beyond the control of TwinSpires or affiliates, which, in the sole opinion of TwinSpires, corrupts, or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the pool. TwinSpires reserves the right to suspend or terminate all or part of the promotion.
