Alice Springs, a flashy chestnut by Galileo, is Aidan O’Brien’s sole representative in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1).

An emphatic debut winner at the Curragh on June 26 (click link for replay), she was runner-up in her first stakes attempt in the Silver Flash (G3) at Leopardstown:

Alice Springs threw in the only disappointing effort in her young career when fifth behind star stablemates Ballydoyle and Minding in the Debutante (G2):

But she drew much closer to that pair in their rematch in the Moyglare Stud (G1):

Cutting back in trip to six furlongs in the Cheveley Park (G1) at Newmarket, Alice Springs was a fine fourth to Lumiere and Breeders’ Cup rival Illuminate:

Alice Springs was last seen romping in the seven-furlong Tattersalls Millions Two-Year-Old Fillies Trophy, a race for alumnae of the sale (specifically, those sold as part of Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale).
