Colt has been working well at Palm Meadows and can get a trouble free trip running from off the pace from an outside post under regular rider Julien Leparoux. | |

3/1 | Son of last year’s leading freshman sire Uncle Mo rallied from off the pace to win the Lecomte Stakes impressively in his latest here last month in his first outing since finishing third to the top selection at Churchill in November. Trainer Tom Amoss wins with 32% of his runners that won last time out and has won with 23% of his starters at this meet. Colt has been working forwardly since his last outing and can be along into contention from off the pace but will have to avoid traffic breaking from near the inside in this full field. | |

6/1 | Chestnut has not been seen since weakening to finish fourth after making an early move to the lead behind the top two selections at Churchill in November. Son of Candy Ride has been working well on this track for his return for trainer Steve Asmussen who wins with 20% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days. Three-year-old can be a contender for a share running from just off the pace with meet’s leading rider Geroux up. | |

8/1 | Second son of Uncle Mo comes off a weakening third place finish in the LeComte Stakes here in January when making his first start since finishing a close second in an allowance at Churchill in November. Three-year-old has been working well at Gulfstream for trainer Mike Maker who wins with 23% of his runners second off a layoff and with 11% in graded stakes. Bay is improving and attracts rider Javier Castellano but faces a tough task from this wide post. |
