Belmont Park $485,964 Triple Pick 6 Carryover Players' Pool Wrap Up

The TwinSpires Players Pool was five deep in the final leg of the triple carryover Pick 6 but missed a big pay day when #2 romped home by open lengths.

The last-leg loss was worth 8 consolations—five on the ticket that was five deep in the last leg and three on the ticket that missed the previous leg (race 9) but had the 11-to-1 deuce in the nightcap.

The Players Pool went deeper in more legs than usual, and this played out mostly in our favor as only one favorite won among the six races. Unfortunately, we left off the longest-priced horse in the sequence (the aforementioned #2 in race 10) on our main ticket.
