History of the Fleur de Lis Stakes

The Fleur de Lis Handicap is a Grade II Thoroughbred horse race run each summer at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. First inaugurated in 1975, the race has become a fixture for top fillies and mares ages three and older who excel at middle distances on dirt.
