11 - Close Hatches (3/1)
Daughter of First Defence lost her unbeaten record for the year when fading to finish a well beaten fourth in the Spinster Stakes at Keeneland in her latest. However, filly may have had some excuse there when restrained early allowing a rival along side through moderate early fractions on a track that was not really favorable to front runners. Four-year-old posted a nice four furlong work at Belmont since her last outing for trainer Bill Mott who has won this event five times before, most recently with Royal Delta in 2012. Dark bay finished a good second in this last year and, with plenty of speed to her inside, can get a good trip running from just off what should be a solid early pace and may get first run on her main rival with Joel Rosario remaining aboard.

10 - Untapable (5/2
BRIS Prime Power selection was eased in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies last year after being hampered early but was ultra impressive when winning the Kentucky Oaks from off the pace from a wide post this spring. Daughter of Tapit returned from a poor effort against males to overcome a speed bias when winning at Parx in her latest last month for trainer Steve Asmussen who wins with 17% of his runners in graded stakes. Three-year-old, who posted a five furlong work in 58 3/5 here this month, has tactical speed and can be running from off what should be a decent early pace with Rosie Napravnik in the saddle.

2 - Tiz Midnight (10/1)
Speedy filly set the fractions into the stretch before being passed late by Beholder in her latest in the Grade One Zenyatta Stakes here in late September. Daughter of Midnight Lute has a record of 4-1-2-1 on this track for trainer Bob Baffert who is looking for his first Distaff winner. Four-year-old worked five furlongs in 59 seconds six days ago and may be the one to catch breaking from near the inside with Victor Espinoza up.

5 - Unbridled Forever (20/1)
Distant third place finisher in the Kentucky Oaks was out run late after making an early move to the lead in the Indiana Oaks in her latest early this month. Daughter of Unbridled's Song hit the board in both of her two previous outings at this distance for trainer Dallas Stewart who has won with 8% of his runners this year. Filly can be running late for a chance at a small share with John Velazquez in the saddle.
