"Hit It and Split It" at Fair Grounds - 1,000,000 Point Carryover

Due to the fact that no TwinSpires Player hit the Fair Grounds $100K Guaranteed Pick 4 on Saturday, January 23rd, the 1,000,000 Twin Spires Club point pool will carryover to Louisiana Derby Preview Day on Saturday, February 20th at Fair Grounds.

The Road to the Derby kicks into high gear  in New Orleans on Saturday, January 23 at Fair Grounds with the first major stakes race of the season for Louisiana Derby and Kentucky Derby candidates.

The wagering highlights at Fair Grounds on Saturday include a  $100,000 Guaranteed All Stakes Pick 4 (Races 7-10) and all TwinSpires Players that hit the All Stakes Pick 4 will have also have a shot at winning up to 1,000,000 Twin Spires Club points.

The $100,000 Guaranteed All Stakes Pick 4 starts in with Race 7 (Louisiana Handicap) and ends with Race 10 (G3 Lecomte Stakes).

First post at Fair Grounds on Saturday is set for 1:10pm Eastern/12:10pm Central.

The $100,000 Guaranteed All Stakes Pick 4 begins with Race 7 and has a post time set for 4:13pm Eastern/3:13pm Central.

How to win your share of 1,000,000 points:

* TwinSpires Players who make a successful Fair Grounds $100,000 Guaranteed  All Stakes  Pick 4 wager through TwinSpires.com will share in a prize pool of 1,000,000 TSC points.

* Only winning wagers made through TwinSpires.com (internet, telephone, mobile, voice) will be eligible.

* A winning Pick 4 wager consists of picking all 4 winners from races 7-10 on Fair Grounds Racecard, Saturday  Jan. 23rd, 2010.

* Points will be entered into winning accounts no later than Wednesday, Jan. 27th, 2010.

* There is no wagering minimum required to qualify. Simply make a correct wager on the All Stakes Pick 4 (Races 7-10) on TwinSpires.com Saturday from Fair Grounds, and you will share in a prize pool of 1,000,000 points.

* Each Player account may only earn maximum of one share of total prize pool.
