The Kentucky Derby has come and gone and with it the Derby Players Pool.
Congratulations to all participants. The 2010 Kentucky Derby Players’ Pool purchased a total of $100,120 in tickets and had a total pre-tax return of $109,547.20 (net return after witholding taxes was $83,099.40). The Players’ Pool hit a "chalky" Fortune-6 at Beulah Park (paid $3,750.40) and came within a 1/2 length of hitting all six (6) winners at Churchill Downs. However, with no six-of-six winning tickets, our two (2) five-of-six tickets paid handsomely ($52,898.40 each). Winning returns have been applied to participant accounts.
