Louisiana Showcase Night at Delta

The Delta Downs 2013 quarterhorse meeting is set to go out with a bang with another edition of Louisiana Showcase Night. 

The Louisiana Showcase Night card will feature 11 races for Louisiana-bred horses and six stakes events headed by the $564,985 Lee Berwick Memorial Louisiana-bred Futurity (RG1),featuring fastest qualifier Heza Fast Rogue.  

To perpetuate the big night at Delta, we are giving all TwinSpires Players who wager on the Louisiana Showcase Night program this Saturday 10 TSC Elite points for every dollar wagered on the card!

First post at Delta Downs on Saturday is set for 7:45pm ET.

Racing Ace Martha Claussen To Visit Delta Downs On Saturday, July 13

VINTON, LA—JULY 9, 2013—Martha Claussen will visit Delta Downs on Saturday, July 13 on behalf of the Racing Aces, a fan education program initiated by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).

Since 2010, the Q-Racing Aces have traveled to racetracks across the country to promote the sport, provide fan education services and create excitement for "America's Fastest Athletes".

Saturday's Louisiana Showcase Night will be the final evening of the 2013 Quarter Horse meet at Delta Downs. Claussen will join track announcer Don Stevens for his pre-race show and will offer her analysis of the eight stakes races, including the $564,895 Lee Berwick Futurity(RG1) and the $148,260 Delta Downs Derby (RG1). She will have free wagering information, courtesy of the AQHA and will give fans complimentary $2.00 betting vouchers, provided by the Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association (LQHBA).
