HOW TO PLAY | CONTEST RACES / PRIZES | OFFICIAL RULES | OFFICIAL WINNERS
We’re challenging players to "Let 8 Ride" at Delta Downs this winter on TwinSpires.com. How far will you go to win big? Hit two winners in a row to earn "insurance." Hit three to win up to $1,000! Here’s how:
1Bet $8 to Win on Wednesday’s 8th race at Delta Downs.
Start the contest by placing at least one (1) $8 Win bet on a single horse in the 8th race at Delta Downs on Wednesday night. A new Let 8 Ride contest will begin every Wednesday night at Delta Downs and will end either when no eligible players are remaining or on the following Saturday night, whichever occurs first.
2Win and let it ride on Thursday’s 8th race at Delta Downs.
If your Wednesday contest wager is a winner, you can continue in the contest on Thursday night by reinvesting your winnings from Wednesday’s bet – rounded down to the nearest dollar – to Win on a single horse in Thursday’s 8th race at Delta Downs. The required bet amount will be listed on the "Contest Races / Prizes" page for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
3Win and let it ride on Friday’s 8th race at Delta Downs.
If Thursday’s contest wager is a winner, you have qualified for Friday’s $500 Insurance Pool. If you choose to continue in the contest by reinvesting your winnings from Thursday’s bet to Win on a single horse in Friday’s 8th race at Delta Downs, you will win or split $500 in the event your contest wager is not a winner.
4Win and let it ride on Saturday’s 8th race at Delta Downs!
Any player who places three consecutive winning contest wagers is eligible to win or split the $1,000 Jackpot Prize Pool should they reinvest all of their winnings from Friday’s contest bet to Win on a single horse in Saturday’s 8th race at Delta Downs. Any player who places four consecutive winning contest wagers will earn a spot in the "Jay Trotter Wall of Fame."
TwinSpires will update the Contest Races/Prizes page each day with the number of contest winners each night and the required bet amounts for the next contest day.
