6Smokey Image7/2  Unbeaten colt ran off to a fine win in his first try for trainer Carla Gaines and proved very capable at a route in that run in his first two turn test. Chestnut colt by Southern Image has won from on or off the early pace with versatility and might be the 'now' horse in the field second time for these connections. Cal-bred has trained swiftly in advance of this and we will give him the nod to keep his streak intact. Victor will have the colt in the mix early prompting the pace.
3Mor Spirit2/1  Grade 1 hero from the Baffert barn has been first or second in each lifetime run and looms large as a consistently good competitor. Sophomore son of Eskendereya took the Lewis (G3) here last time in a prep for this one, and while he never seems to dominate, the Kentucky-bred gets it done with some in hand and is said to be doing well in advance of this run for a barn that obviously knows how to handle the three-year-old runners in the barn. Gary Stevens will once again pilot this tactical sort and have him in range for the most part every step of the way.
7Exaggerator5/2  Classy graded winner gets a nice draw on the outside of this field and could easily be the star of this race for Keith Desormeaux. Dark bay son of Curlin has run nothing but big races since his debut offering and was a fine second behind a champion last time in the San Vicente (G2) last time, now getting a bit more ground to work with which he should prefer second time off the layoff. Kentucky-bred colt posted a pair of drills leading up to this, and while he might not be totally cranked up for this, his best makes him a serous player. Kent D rides and is 19% for this barn last 60 days.
2Danzing Candy7/2  Sise trainee gets a test in this one and we are curious to see how this talented sort responds. Son of top young sire Twirling Candy has run a pair of fields off their feet in advance of this and looks like he does it so easily, that he surely warrants a try with this type. Dark bay Kentucky-bred looked fine going long last time and the works look good for a trainer who is 26% at this meeting and solid in the stakes ranks, too. Regular rider Mike Smith will be in the silks, which ism a bonus for sure.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a complete Kentucky Derby experience and the opportunity to make a $25,000 bet on the Derby!
