The New Year is still a few days away, but a new season of racing begins in earnest with opening day at Santa Anita, which traditionally falls on the day after Christmas. We’re marking the occasion this holiday Monday by giving players their Win bets back if their horse runs second or third in any stakes race on the card.
Just place a $15 Win bet on a single horse in any stakes race at Santa Anita on Monday, December 26. If it finishes second or third, we will refund your $15 Win bet. Only your first $15 Win bet on a given race counts, so be sure to make it your top choice.

How to Play
- Place a $15 Win bet on a single horse in any stakes race at Santa Anita on Monday, Dec. 26.
- Stakes races include the Malibu Stakes, La Brea Stakes, Mathis Brothers Mile and San Simeon Handicap.
- Only a player’s first $15 Win bet on a single horse in any stakes race will qualify.
- Combination Win/Place, Win/Show, Win/Place/Show are not eligible for this promotion.
- Multi-horse or boxed bets are not eligible for this promotion.
- Scratches must be re-bet.
- Players may only place one (1) qualifying $15 Win bet per stakes race.
How Get Your Cash Back
- If a player’s qualifying Win bet finishes second or third in any stakes race, his or her qualifying Win bet will be refunded.
- Players may earn up to $60 ($15 per race) in cash back rewards.
Cash back bonuses will be credited on or before Wednesday, Dec. 28.
