STALL TRIES TO FILL THE VOID IN CLARK

Trainer Albert Stall, Jr. saddled the now retired Blame to success in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) this season and now must fill the void of losing that one in Friday's $500,000 Clark H. (G1), and he'll try to do so with Apart, the recent Ack Ack H. (G3) winner. The improving colt has never run a bad one and will hope to give Stall a win in this race for the second straight campaign.

Fayette S. (G2) winner Successful Dan, Oaklawn H. (G2) runner-up Win Willy, Hawthorne Gold Cup (G2) star Redding Colliery, Breeders' Cup Marathon (G3) fourth Giant Oak and Sycamore S. (G3) hero Brass Hat add to the depth of race.

The $150,000 Falls City H. (G2) is to be held on Thursday, with Chilukki S. (G2) upsetter Distinctive Dixie, Grade 2 lass Striking Dancer and multiple stakes queen Third Dawn among the key players.

Saturday hosts the $150,000 Kentucky Jockey Club S. (G2) and the $150,000 Golden Rod S. (G2) on its all-two-year-old card.
