The “2’s” Are Wild This Fall at Calder on TwinSpires

The 2-year old racing program at Calder is among the strongest in the country and this Fall those two-year olds will be running wild on TwinSpires.

Starting with the Festival of the Sun Preview Day Saturday September 25th, and ending on Festival of the Sun Day on Saturday, October 16, TwinSpires Players can play their way to a VIP Trip to Miami, Florida in November to enjoy Florida’s top horses race on Florida Million Day live at Calder Race Course.

Just wager at least $50 on any 2-year old race at Calder between Saturday, September 25th and Saturday, October 16 and earn an entry into the Calder VIP Trip Drawing.  Players will earn one entry for every 2-year old race they meet the minimum wagering requirement on.

Post Time at Calder is set for 1:10pm ET each race day.

Eligibility:

  • This contest is open to TwinSpires.com Players only.
  • Limit one (1) contest entry per Player/race.

How to Play:

  • Players must wager at least $50 on any 2-year old race at Calder between Saturday, September 25th and Saturday, October 16th to qualify for an entry. 
  • Players will earn one entry for every 2-year-old race they meet the wagering requirement on. 
  • Only wagers placed on 2-year-old races between Saturday, September 25th and October 16th on Calder Race Course qualify for the promotion.
  • Limit one contest entry per Player/race.
  • 2-year old races that are scheduled to be run on the turf, but are taken off the turf, will count toward the promotion.

How to Win:

  • Grand Prize: One VIP Trip to the 2010 Florida Million Day at Calder Race Course (Saturday, November 13) – The VIP Prize Package will be chosen randomly among all entries earned by the Players who qualify.

VIP Prize Details:

One randomly selected Player will win:

  • Roundtrip airfare for two to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami for the 2010 Florida Million at Calder Race Course on Nov. 13, 2010.
  • Two nights hotel
  • Calder Turf Club admission and box seats for two
  • $100 for food and beverage at the track
  • $100 wagering voucher

Winner will be announced on TwinSpires.com Tuesday, October 19.
