It is each participant’s sole responsibility to meet the wagering requirements listed above. If any tournament entry fails to comply with any or all of the above-reference wagering requirements, that entry shall be disqualified from the tournament, and that entry will be ineligible to be awarded any prizes.

TwinSpires will make the decision on disqualification in the event of a rule violation and all decisions are final. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of a disqualification. Disqualified players will still receive their remaining Tournament Bankroll funds back to their primary TwinSpires account.

SCRATCHES

Wagers placed on scratched horses shall receive no payout in the competition; however, wager amounts will be refunded to the Tournament Bankroll in accordance with standard pari-mutuel rules.

All selections and wagers must be submitted prior to the first eligible contest race. Once the first contest race begins, selections are final and may not be edited, modified, replaced, or cancelled for any reason.

If a selected horse is scratched prior to the first contest race, the participant may modify their selection before the selection deadline.

Participants must satisfy all minimum wagering amount and race participation requirements prior to the first contest race. Failure to meet tournament wagering requirements due to scratches, late scratches, race cancellations, or non-starters will not excuse non-compliance and may result in disqualification.

If an eligible contest race is cancelled or declared “no contest,” wagers placed on that race will be refunded pursuant to standard pari-mutuel rules. The tournament shall otherwise continue as scheduled, and no additional wagering opportunities will be provided.
