One of the most anticipated nights in harness racing takes place this Saturday with the running of the $600,000 Meadowlands Pace, a race that routinely attracts the best three-year-old pacers in North America. After fading to 4th as the odds-on favorite in the North America Cup last month at Mohawk, Sweet Lou seeks to make amends Saturday night at the Meadowlands. After winning his elimination by a neck over A Rocknroll Dance last Saturday, Sweet Lou has been installed as a tepid 5/2 morning-line favorite over the second elimination winner, Heston Blue Chip, who is listed as the 7/2 second choice in an expected field of 10.
The M1 Pace is carded as the 11th of 13 races and is part of a $100,000 Guaranteed Late Pick 4 pool on races 10-13. To win a share of 1,000,000 points, just place a winning wager with your TwinSpires.com wagering account on the $100,000 Guaranteed Late Pick 4 (races 10-13) at Meadowlands on Saturday, July 14th.
Official Rules:
- To qualify to win a share of the 1,000,000 Points prize, a player must place an actual winning Pick 4 (races 10-13) wager with his or her TwinSpires.com wagering account on Meadowlands, Saturday, July 14th.
- Only the Pick 4 (races 10-13) at Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, July 14th is eligible for this promotion. No other Pick 4 wagers qualify.
- Each TwinSpires.com Player may win only one (1) share of the prize regardless of the amount of winning tickets s/he records in the Late Pick 4.
- At the end of the day, all Players who have placed a winning wager on the Late Pick 4 (races 10-13) at Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, July 14th will win a prize equal to 1,000,000 TSC Ellite Points divided by the total number of winning players. If there is one winner, s/he will win the entire 1,000,000 points prize. If there are 10 winners, each will receive 100,000 points and so forth.
