Belmont $137,012 Double Pick 6 Carryover Players’ Pool Wrap Up
The TwinSpires.com Players Pool went after the $137k double carryover Pick 6 on Wednesday at Belmont Park, and went five-for-six on seven different tickets for a return of $14,525 on $32,350 wagered, meaning each player will receive $4.48 for every $10 contributed.
Things started promising when the first Pick 3 of the sequence paid 1,213-to-1, and the Player’s Pool was still alive 2x5x3 and 1x6x1 to very logical contenders, but a miss in leg 4 left all tickets dead, as none of our nine tickets included both the first leg (race 4) winner Summerdale at 27-to-1 and leg 4 (race 7) winner Princess Adelyn at 9.9-to-1. The remaining 5×3 came through for our seven consolation tickets worth $2,075 each.
The aforementioned Summerdale and Princess Adelyn were both first-time starters and the longest-priced horses in the sequence. There was one ticket with six of six, and it paid $423,424.
