Saratoga $273,760 Players' Pool Wrap Up

There were two winners of the Saratoga Pick 6 on Thursday worth $424,936 each, and the TwinSpires Players Pool had neither of those tickets.

We leaned heavily on singles in races 9 (Roses For Romney) and 11 (Brandys Secret) and neither won.

One horse we didn't lean on was Kingston Bay in race 7 (leg 2), who paid $4.10 to win. The panel felt strongly that if Brandy's Secret didn't win then any of them could, and that came to fruition when Hunters Forward upset the final leg. Liking Kingston Bay more may have allowed us to connect the dots.

Congrats to the two winners out there. Here's hoping we're next.
