SEVEN TO VIE IN VAGRANCY
SEVEN TO VIE IN VAGRANCY
A smart field of seven has been entered to contest the $200,000 Vagrancy H. (G2) at Belmont Park on Saturday. California import She's Cheeky was second in the Madison S. (G1) at Keeneland most recently and draws outside in this spot. The seven-year-old mare has placed in four straight graded events, two of those on dirt in her lone two dirt outings of her career. The daughter of Black Minnaloushe could break through on this day with a well-time ride.
Grade 2 vixen Nicole H could be the one to beat in this well-matched field for trainer Mike Hushion. The dark bay daughter of Mr. Greeley was a fine winner in her lone start on this oval and will be in the hunt from the opening bell on this occasion. Belle of the Hall was a nice second in a sloppy prep for this and is well drawn on the rail for conditioner Tom Albertrani. The Richard Dutrow duo of C C's Pal and Smart Stride, as well as the returning stakes heroine Kid Kate are also in with a chance in this endeavor.
