World Classic champion, Kiowa Producer and Cry Concho, who chased him to the wire for second will face off again in the Joe Ryan Jr. Memorial Sprint at Mardi Gras this Friday evening, February 22nd. With Siturockindaboat in the 1 box, Kiowa Producer in the 2 box, Cry Concho in the 4 box and Cal's Won More in the 3 box, there's a lot of early speed on the inside in this one.
On the outside, Who Says I Can't in the 6 box and FF Code Red in the 7 box, will be looking for a piece of the purse money and trying to get around Mom's Hellion in the 5 box. Oakland Medusa in the 8 box rounds out the field and would probably rather be on the inside, but might surprise if she has some racing room and racing luck.
It's hard not to like Kiowa Producer, who won his last race by 6 lengths with a 30:47. If he gets the lead, I don't think there's a dog here that can take him down. But if there's a bobble at the break or a misstep, don't count out Who Says I Can't and Siturockindaboat.
