Syracuse Organe College Football Info
Syracuse has been a member of the ACC since 2013 and are led by Head Coach Dino Babers. They have a winning bowl record of 15-9-1 SU. Perhaps the most well known alumni of Syracuse Orange college football is the notorious Al Davis, a pioneer in the game as both a coach and owner of the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders. Davis was instrumental in the forming of the NFL and is often credited as both the league's biggest villain and one of its most important contributors. Other football Hall of Fame inductees include Buck O'Neill, Larry Csconka, the immortal Jim Brown, Marvin Harrison and Art Monk. Former Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Donovan McNabb is also an alumni. The 2017 season was filled with highs and lows. Syracuse posted a defiant upset at home against Clemson, then ranked second in the country, in a nationally televised game that's noted as one of the most surprising moments of the season. Unfortunately, the massive win created little momentum for Syracuse. They would end the year with a five-game losing streak, finishing 4-8 SU and 5-6-1 ATS overall at the bottom of the ACC Atlantic division.
