After a break through at the gate and an inquiry Henri Matissee wins the last race of the Breeders' Cup Friday, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
13, 12, 11, 2
Let's re-watch Citizen Bull's victory in the Juvenile.
Congratulations to Ashley for her winning Expert BetShare!
Let's watch one more time, for now, Lake Victoria's victory in the 2024 Juvenile Fillies Turf.
Under a skillful ride, Henri Matisse rallied boldly to give jockey Ryan Moore and trainer Aidan O'Brien an eighth win in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
A quick pace allowed Henri Matisse to drop down into the two-path and save ground around the first turn, even after breaking from post 12. Around the far turn, he launched a sweeping outside rally to reach contention, and down the homestretch he swallowed the leaders to prevail in a drive in 1:34.48.
Iron Man Cal finished second ahead of Aomori City, who delayed the start after breaking through the gate and running off a short distance. There's currently an inquiry involving New Century and Dream On, who finished fourth and fifth.
Wait for official results
Aomori City broke out of front gate and must circle back around.
