Australia Racing Preview for 6/20/2014

Saturday racing is the final Grade 1 of Brisbane’s winter carnival, the SKY RACING TATTERSALLS TIARA WFA race for Fillies and Mares. This along with a few other Graded stakes is where we will be concentrating our efforts on making sure that your wallet is nice and full at the end of the day! So take a read and get into it with us!
EAGLE FARM – AUS A
RACE 5 – GRADE 3 W.J. HEALY STAKES HANDICAP 1200m of $175000 (AUS)
One of the days features for the sprinters at Group 3 level. Pace should be genuine at least with the flyers Adebisi & Rocky King engaged. Could have gone in any number of directions however I thought HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME's first up run when sitting wide with 61kg was terrific, down a kilo here today, fitter & drawn to tag the speed should get every chance for a win. Cannot knock CAPE KIDNAPPERS, he could easily win again whilst I wouldn't be leaving out FACILE TIGRE, BENNETTA, METALLUGICAL or BIG MONEY, all were good last start runs & have definite winning chances.
SELECTIONS – HOWMUCHDOYOULOVEME / FACILE TIGRE / BIG MONEY
RACE 6 – GRADE 3 CARLTON DRAUGHT TATTERSALL'S CUP HANDICAP 2200m of $200000 (AUS)
The Cup takes on a different twist with the addition of the Oaks winner TINTO going around. Must say I was surprised to see her in the nominations as I thought she'd be resting up. She's going to bypass the spring, however before that she'll take this lot on & I'd say give them a nice old caning if she's still anywhere near her Oaks winning form. Former Italian galloper WISH COME TRUE has only had the three Australian runs & they've all been good, then they were capped off with a Moonee Valley win latest, definite danger. PRETTY PINS next best in this bunch.

RACE 7 – GRADE 1 SKY RACING TATTERSALL'S TIARA FILLIES AND MARES WEIGHT FOR AGE 1400 of $500000 (AUS)
G1 Tatt's Tiara for the fillies & mares, looks a terrific race this year. STEPS IN TIME & DRIEFONTEIN go forward with Catkins. COSMIC ENDEAVOUR is a mare who's right at the top of her game at the moment, she blew away the Dane Ripper field last time after winning well at Scone & Randwick, at the weights here she's not really well placed only giving 1.5kg to G1 winners, but she’ll ne right in it. CATKINS draws perfectly & has been working well. Defending champ RED TRACER finished off well in the Stradbroke, wide gate will see her drift back however is the class act in this field, I fancy she has another G1 in her!
