Australia Racing Preview for 6/27/2014

Racing heads back to headquarters this weekend with more heats for the winter championship series! Flemington will host some pretty good off season fields and provide us with plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the winnings we made at Geelong a few days ago, where we tipped 4 winners in 4 races!
FLEMINGTON – AUS A
RACE 5 - DAVID BOURKE PROVINCIAL PLATE 1610m Of $100000 (AUS)
CHARMED HARMONY was simply awesome last time winning by 8L eased down, both mile runs have been solid placings but in neither of those was he coming off such outstanding form. TINY'S LEGACY impressed last time off the strong speed, the same looks likely here, he acts like he wants 1610m now. AERATUS is flying this prep, form around him is good too. GRAND ALLOWANCE was a huge winner last time! FLYINGCONI is a hope but how strong is he at 1610m??
SELECTIONS – CHARMED HARMONY / AERATUS / TINYS LEGACY
RACE 6 - VRC-CRV WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES HEAT 6 1410m Of $80000 (AUS)
ANLON could well be one of many winners unplaced out of that MV meeting last week, love the way he found the line against the pattern (fastest last 400m) and wants 1410m badly now. BLACKIE gets to 1410m also, early last prep he thrashed Sertorius at 1500m. HENWOOD (gap between runs into latest - fitter now!) and AKAVOROUN (big track!!!) go in for sure. JIMANDO is 2nd-up off year break and 6-weeks between runs but want him on-side at odds. THUNDERBIRD ONE impressed at Sale with 59kg.

RACE 7 - ALL VICTORIAN SPRINT SERIES HEAT 8 1100m Of $80000 (AUS)
Good race but a few queries. AL ANEED could blow these away fresh (looking very good at jump outs) but heavy track 1st-up? THE THIEF went to a whole new level last time ridden colder, he was backed too! SHANGHAI WARRIOR was good behind him given he was 1st-up off the long spell. DON'T GET EXCITED beat a good field in Gold Topaz and did it well. VAIN QUEEN was back to her best last time off two clear 'forgive file' runs. DAYTONA GREY is in-form, likes wet and has massive weight swing on IMPULSE BUY. GENERAL TRUCE (fitter?), DOUBTFILLY (wants further?) can be included.
SELECTIONS – DON’T GET EXCITED / AL ANEED / VAIN QUEEN
RACE 8 - LEILANI SERIES HEAT 4 1410m Of $80000 (AUS)
Looks good speed here! NAUTICAL and NADHIMA come through the same race at MV, the former was 1st-up and charged home, she has 2nd-up form and no weight here, the latter raced tight yet kept closing and went every bit as well to my eye, note, there was 1/100ths of a second between them their last 200m splits. SINHALA was impressive last time onto heavy ground beating in-form mare, they thrashed 3rd. JOLIE BLONDE some hope but weights are against her. Expecting better from EVIE ROSE. BALACLAVA LADY was solid fresh-up and has a case.
