About Mike Carter and Mike Bozich

Mike Carter started practicing calling races in the grandstand at Colonial Downs, before becoming the caller at Shenandoah Fair. He got his first pari-mutuel announcing job at Buffalo Raceway, where he served in a variety of roles. After a two-year stint in Bill country, Mike accepted a position at Northfield Park as the Asst. Director of Mutuels and back-up race announcer.  Carter is currently the Social Media and Publicity Coordinator at the USTA. 

Mike Bozich got his start announcing greyhound races at The Birmingham Race Course in 1998. After a stint in radio in the Chicago land area (where he grew up), he went to Hazel Park Raceway. There, he worked in many capacities including announcer for 10 years. He is now going on his third season as the track announcer at Harrah's Philadelphia.
