We continue our series of 2015 Breeders' Cup contender replay posts with Hit It A Bomb.
Although the least experienced of Aidan O'Brien's trio pre-entered in the Juvenile Turf (G1), the War Front colt has won both of his starts in the manner of an exciting prospect. He overcame a poor post, and evident greenness, to win at first asking at the Curragh September 27 (click link for video). Switching to Dundalk's Polytrack for the October 9 Star Appeal, he ran out a commanding 4 1/2-length winner.
Hit It A Bomb was widely expected to be given an entry in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) on dirt, but his only Keeneland target is on the grass.
