A total of nine fillies and mares will challenge #7 R Disaster (9-5) in Saturday’s $300,000 Dream Supreme S. at Churchill Downs. The six-furlong heat on the main strip attracted a solid group, but the race will go through the fleet Saffie Joseph trainee.
R Disaster – With
- $2 trifecta key 7 with 3,8,9,10 ($24)
- $1 superfecta key 7 with 3,8,9,10 ($24)
R Disaster – Against
- $2 exacta box 3,8,9,10 ($24)
- 10-cent superfecta 3,8,9,10 with 3,7,8,9,10 with 3,7,8,9,10 with all ($28.80)
By Awesome Slew, the four-year-old has been uber-consistent in her lifetime, evidenced by her 12-7-5-0 lifetime mark leading up to the dash. The Florida-bred four-year-old has superb early speed and draws outside of the other major pace in the cast, which will be a benefit to the lass. She was last seen dominating her competition in the Gallant Bloom S. (G2) in the Empire State, and anything resembling that performance will make her tough today. Jose Ortiz retains the ride.

I feel that #3 Jersey Pearl (10-1) is rounding up to a big run third time off the shelf for Darrin Miller. The Silverton Hill color bearer was a smart sophomore, and while she did little from a pair of appearances in 2024, the Bee Jersey miss has come back with two good efforts this campaign, led by an allowance triumph on the local surface to move her mark to two-for-two in Louisville. Versatile sort will save ground stalking the pace while in range throughout under Francisco Arrieta.
#8 Marmalade Skye (15-1) might be a notch below the major players in this affair, but the Danza five-year-old has been going well since being claimed by this outfit last season and also likes the strip, as well. One of two in the field for Jacobson, the chestnut mare has the right running style for the dash and has exotics appeal to me at a big number under Luan Machado.
Roxelana S. heroine, #9 Mink’s Palace (8-1), and Honorable Miss (G2) upsetter #10 Halina’s Forte (7-2) each have intrigue for the verticals and will be included, too.
