The All-Dirt Pick 4 has traditionally offered lucrative payouts on Breeders' Cup Saturday, and the 2026 edition should be just as rewarding. One or two minor upsets in the sequence can launch boxcar payoffs.

Race 6 – Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1)
A well-matched field of 11 will vie in a tricky first leg of the play. I like #3 Full Serrano (10-1) in this spot as a potential wire-to-wire player. The John Sadler pupil captured the race in 2024, and I think he had a nice prep for this in the Pacific Classic (G1) in his first appearance since March.
#7 Bracket Buster (7-2) has run two good ones after a long absence this campaign and could be sitting on a peak effort beneath John Velazquez. #6 Lord Fons (15-1) has held his own against top foes in Japan, and he offers great value in a winnable race.
Race 8 – Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1)
The Cherie DeVaux-trained #13 Englishman (4-5) has been electric, with four dominant wins when sprinting in his career and will be one of the shorter-priced favorites over the two days of racing during the Breeders’ Cup. The Maxfield colt was assigned the widest post in the field, which might be to his benefit to avoid trouble, and he has fired off a trio of bullet works in succession leading up to the event. But, the colt is facing his toughest assignment to date and toppling him will add great value to this sequence.
#11 T O Elvis (7-2) was a sublime winner of the Churchill Downs (G1) in his stateside debut in May and comes in fresh for his second run on U. S. soil. A repeat of his latest performance will make him a serious presence in the stretch under Ryusei Sakai. Doug O’Neill’s #5 Listenupshance (12-1) has been quite good since having the blinkers removed in November and might fly under the radar with Jaramillo in the silks. #7 Built (10-1) has been excellent since focusing on one-turn races for Wayne Catalano, and the Hard Spun colt had a nice prep for this most recently with a measured victory beneath the Twin Spires.
Race 10 – Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1)
The 1 1/8-mile race on the main oval looks like a great spot for Chad Brown’s #4 Fully Subscribed (8-5). The four-year-old is in fine current form; she has the right running style for the affair, and the chestnut also proved to like the course after her recent Spinster (G1) score.
#2 Nitrogen (6-5) might not be as sensational when racing out of the Empire State, but the filly is still undoubtedly good enough to beat this group with her top performance. I’m not sure how much I love #8 Splendora (9-2) in this particular spot, but I would feel foolish if the classy Baffert charge beats me and I have to include her.
Race 12 – Breeders' Cup Classic (G1)
I’ll conclude with three of the more logical runners in the finale. The Godolphin duo of #2 Sovereignty (5-2) and #7 Knightsbridge (9-2), along with defending champ and worldwide star #5 Forever Young (2-1), are the ones that I have a lot of confidence in to close out the play.
