A deep, full field of grassy dashers will run 5 1/2 furlongs over the Keeneland green in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1).
Group 2 star #3 Libertango (5-2) leads the field for conditioner George Boughey.

Purchased for $569,000 at a breeze-up sale earlier this year, Libertango hasn’t done much wrong in her five-race career while keeping fine company, including a score over Sun Goddess in the Albany (G3) at Royal Ascot in June. Second to that filly last time in the Cheveley Park (G1) at Newmarket, the February foal will be moving into contention approaching the turn for home with Flavien Prat inheriting the ride.
#11 Hell of A Spin (15-1) is less accomplished compared to many of his foes in the group, but the Naval Crown colt is not that far off and offers great value in the dash. Trained by Adrian Keatley, the Irish-bred has a good cruising speed and a quick turn of foot, and he will be a major player in the contest with a well-timed ride from pilot Mikey Sheehy.
#4 Brickyard Belle (3-1), one of just three domestic runners in the dash, has been sharp, winning both of her two career runs to date for Miguel Clement. The $600,000 Yaupon filly closed with big energy to capture the Matron (G3) most recently and will face the boys for the first time on Friday. The March foal posted a bullet work on the grass in preparation for her Keeneland debut and retains pilot Manny Franco.
#7 Crownbreaker (20-1), another filly shipping in from Europe, fell a neck short in the recent Flying Childers (G2) at Doncaster and is very capable on her best day. The expensive yearling purchase, a half-sister to 2024 July Cup (G1) victor Mill Stream, has not been consistent as of yet but comes in fresh and picks up John Velazquez.
Robson de Aguilar’s #8 Force Noir (8-1) ran a winning race in defeat in the Middle Park (G1) last time out and will be in the mix against this cast with even slight improvement. The Persian Force colt will be in the mix from the opening bell with David Egan in the controls.
