Camelot Kitten looks to resume winning ways in Hall of Fame

"The cut back in distance should suit him," said trainer Chad Brown. "He's a very consistent horse who has had a very good season, particular since we've put the blinkers on him [for the American Turf]. I thought he ran well in the Belmont Derby, it just proved to be a little far for him. He came out of the race in good shape and hopefully by cutting him back, he'll go back to his winning ways."
Trainer Mark Casse seemingly hopes the removal of blinkers for the Hall of Fame will work in favor of Airoforce. Since donning the shades in advance of a tally in the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) last November, the gray has placed in only one of five starts this term, that being a second to his brilliant stablemate, the filly Catch a Glimpse, in the Penn Mile (G3). Airoforce was in back of Camelot Kitten in both the American Turf and Belmont Derby, but was not far behind either time.
Isotherm, one of the better turf juveniles in the nation last season on the basis of a victory in the Pilgrim (G3), returns from a lengthy spell in the Hall of Fame. The George Weaver trainee was last seen missing in a stretch duel to Life Imitates Art by a head in the Dania Beach (G3) at Gulfstream January 2, but has turned a long string of strong works over the grass at the Oklahoma training track.
Giant Run has won or placed in five consecutive stakes. Third in the Penn Mile two back, the Tom Albertrani charge rebounded to beat Strike Midnight in the $100,000 Manila at Belmont on July 4. Meanwhile, Grade 2-placed Unbridled Daddy might find a return to Saratoga appealing as it was the site of his maiden victory last season.
