The Canadian International (Can-G1) will be run for the 79th time on Sunday as part of a star-studded card at Woodbine.

The prestigious 1 1/2-mile turf contest boasts such luminaries as Secretariat, Dahlia, Exceller, All Along, Sky Classic and Singspiel on its list of winners, and Sunday will see yet another name added to the roster.

The Canadian International is truly living up to its name this year by attracting many overseas runners.

In addition to the C$1 million affair, Woodbine will also host the E. P. Taylor S. (Can-G1), Nearctic Stakes (Can-G2) and Ontario Fashion Stakes (Can-G3) on the same card.

The Early Pick 4 features both the Nearctic and Ontario Fashion while the Late Pick 4 includes the Canadian International and E.P. Taylor.
