Running Aces
Minnesota-bred sophomores again take the spotlight with a pair of devoted races worth $10k and $14k, respectively.
Race 8
Brooklyn Wind Up gets the 8-hole again, but that is not such a knock considering these youngsters are working things out as they race along. He will be leaving to the right of the other Brady Jenson-trained soph, Twisted Bliss, who may very well be the public choice. It’s all in the trips, and the price will be right to give Brooklyn Wind Up a chance to get wound up.
Race 9
Almost a dominant soph, Alilthundadownunda has to work a bit harder from post 8 since Maze will take a few steps less in a perfect spot, post 4, and may be quite an overlay considering this is the better class of sophs, as well. Maze and Alilthundadownunda are products of the good sire Malak Uswaad N.
CURRIER & IVES

Meadows
A single division of Currier & Ives for soph-filly trotters for $60k highlights the afternoon Meadows program. Eight top breeds hit the track led by top-earning You Ato Dream. We endorse the strongest bred (to date), a Father Patrick filly, Dazzling Reign. Her speed badge is slower than the aforementioned, and we expect bettors to lean on the winning time before they accept current-dominating breeding stats.
Also, Meadows driving hero Dave Palone will steer Trond Smedshammer’s Victoriana, and Dave always attracts dollars for his presence and will here even though this filly (which we backed before) has not won in five starts this season.
ELECTRIC ELIMS

Yonkers
Races 4, 5
MGM Park Pace elims $25k
Race 4
A sextet makes up the first elim field. The favorite from the rail, Heart Of Mine is 5-for-5, and when you see her foes, you may want to key her in all exotics and pass a win wager using Shania Blue Chip (who shares the favorite’s sire Roll With Joe) and Lindy At The Beach.
Race 5
Seven soph fillies line up in the second of two elims. It’s hard to look away from So Irresistible, the Always B Miki gal with five wins already. Still, Test Of Faith may soar from post 7 for Pelling to keep her streak going to three. She may be better than any post where she begins her races.

Yonkers
Races 6, 7
Yonkers Trot elims $40k
Race 6
Six go in the first elim of the classic. They are Hambo hopefuls led by Ahundreddollarbill, who is undefeated in three races. From post 6, our 2020 two time-cashed On A Streak will be well bet, but the post may turn some bettors off, meaning On A Streak will once again go off worthy of a wager.
Strong exotics will include Calle Palema and Mon Amour, since Incommunicado will attract win money, hopefully more than On A Streak.
Race 7
Seven are on board for elim two. Here we also look beyond the obvious with Marcus Melander’s In Range most likely offering better odds than expected. Ake Svanstedt’s Ambassador Hanover will be ready to take any of these to the last step. An outside exotic choice to boost prices is The Irishman, the lone trotter by fantastic sire Cantab Hall.

Yonkers
Races 8, 9
Messenger elims $40k
Race 8
Seven glamour-boy pacers race in the first elim where Whichwaytothebeach’s four-race win streak will be challenged. We intend to beat him with Always A Miki. Following in his sire’s pace steps, he will be tough to catch if left to pace in front from the start, leaving from the coveted Yonkers rail. It should be a worthy exacta with “Miki” on top.
Race 9
There are eight colts in the second elim. Already on the Top 10, Abuckabett Hanover is going to suck in bucks here, as will Meadowlands Pace probable Exploit. So far this season, however, the sires doing best are represented by three colts that could possibly offer a huge triple payoff.
Mysweetboymax (Sweet Lou), Highlandbeachsbest (Somebeachsomewhere) and Billy Clyde (Always B Miki) will each go off at odds far higher than their chances. It is not so far fetched, as these sophs will play hard to make the final, and the favorites can still make the final finishing behind them.
H2W Legend
Review our choices and confirm the wagers available at the prescribed track. H2W offers possible contenders researched from reviewing races. Horses’ names are listed beneath the name of the track with the date of their race and the race number (R6) follows. If a + is in front of a horse’s name, it appears on the list for the second time (horses are listed twice only if, at first, they failed to win. An “AE” signals also-eligible. Types of wagers to make are based on your judgment. Some repeating horses may not appear due to our deadline to post.
