Expecting big prices on Wednesday, November 16, at Churchill Downs

Only two weeks of live racing remain at Churchill Downs, which means just 10 racing dates of dirt and turf racing remain until the action shifts to Turfway Park's Polytrack for four months. Dirt and turf will not return until April 2017 at Keeneland.

The prices have been decent during the current meeting, but I expect Wednesday's 10-race card that features carryovers in both Single 6 jackpot ($69,852) and Super High 5 ($11,402) to produce higher than average payouts in all wagers. There are full fields and seemingly very few horses to really hang your hat on. I.e. I'll be an unabashed caveman player today, using my only my "A" column for most multi-race plays and peppering in the Bs at generous odds.
