Here is the TwinSpires Harness Blog Weekly Update.

But for the first leg, our Pick-4 at Yonkers would have been a hit. Our 4-1 shot, Ladybeluckytonight ($3.90, $2.70) was second in the first leg, which was won by the favorite. It turned out to be a single when Keene Olivia scratched. With the favorite on top, the exacta paid $18.20).

The next three legs included winners, along with exacta elements.

In leg two we won with Hunting AS ($7.40, $3.60, $2.70), with the exacta partner Look In My Eyes ($6.60, $6.20) for an exacta worth $88.50. Kandy Sweet (14-1) finished fourth.

Leg three presented the winning J Rockin B ($3.60, 2.50, $2.40), who became a single when All About Amy did not draw in from the also-eligible list.

Leg four scored with Franchoek ($9.20, $5.90, $4.00), while Amandarose ($5.40, $3.70) completed the $42.20 exacta and All About Madi (8-1) came home sixth.

Friday, Feb. 26

We aimed for a Freehold triple, missed by one, with the investment salvaged by a winner, What Chapter ($4.40, $4.20, $3.40), and the show slot with Big Smoove ($8.60). Keystone Orion (2-1) was a disappointing fourth.

At Yonkers, In The Huddle ($5.20), Control Tower (4-1), fourth, and Zoeez Boy Henry (1-1), eighth, along with four others, were trounced by a 42-1 shot that took advantage of the mile’s fickle flow and won handily.

Saturday, Feb. 27

Pocono’s feature was a disaster for our choices as a 16-1 perfect-trip outsider won. The only of three we followed was Captain Nash ($5.20, $3.00), second, while race-favorite A Real Miracle (1-1) finished seventh and Shane Adam (3-1) was last to the finish line.

At Northfield, our feature was also burdened by tough trips as Mrs Major Hill (9-5) tanked from an early duel. Our other choice, Mad Maude ($2.40, $2.60) was in a dead heat for second.

H2W LIST RESULTS

The H2W results list across-the-board prices. Exactas listed include a H2W horse finishing second to a race-favorite or if the first two finishers are H2W horses (an asterisk appears when both horses are listed—a cold exacta). The note “ok” determines that prices are correct (even when a show price exceeds a place price or all prices are the same).

Please note that some results reflect horses racing after the blog posts (they appear the following week).

This week, there were 38 active horses (an 11-percent win hit rate and a 39-percent ATB [across-the-board] hit. Horses with asterisks before their names were tweets @FrankCotolo. Follow for all late choices.
