Grand Circuit action will be coming to a close this meet at The Red Mile. Among the ending festivities are four divisions of the $255,000 International Stallion Stakes for two-year-old trotting fillies scheduled for Friday, Oct. 7’s card.

Thats All Moni headlines a full field of Breeders Crown contenders. The obvious counter contender to the probable favorite is Hillarmbro, who almost sprinted past Thats All Moni in the Bluegrass. The Trond Smedshammer trainee has been sharpening over the last month and appears to be the best value against an overwhelming choice.

Division two, also full of “Crown” hopefuls, includes Ariana G, winner of such races as the Peaceful Way and Jim Doherty Memorial. To her inside is Chezatter, who has finished second in such races as the Jim Doherty Memorial and a Bluegrass division. Trond Smedshammer conditions another developing force of the filly trotting ranks, this one could be an attractive-enough price to try and beat Ariana G.

Round three has two ineligible to the Crown: Dream Baby Dream and Tequila Sunrise As. Even though she is not staked to the Crown, Dream Baby Dream has shown talent for a trotter just reaching the races. Making her fourth start of the season, her price will likely be inflated as Bluegrass winners Overdraft Volo and Onda Su shadow her.

Capping the International Stallion Stake splits is a seven-horse field with two ineligible: Myammie Drama and Dangle Then Deke.

Fine Tuned Lady will probably take the most public dollars off a second-place effort as the 1-5 favorite in last week’s Bluegrass. If sent a heavy favorite once more, Fine Tuned Lady will provide a decent price on her neighbor, Ice Attraction.

The Ake Svanstedt trainee has been off the stakes trail since finishing sixth in the Jim Doherty Memorial. Though she recently won a division of the Tompkins-Geers and a division of the Reynolds, this is her return to the major stakes stage where she appears ready to shine.
