Greyhound Preview Palm Beach 11/14/2014
*KB's Like A Fox*
What a lineup Palm Beach has in store for fans and players this afternoon. “The Fox” is back on the super sprint course going against season wins leader Nikita’s First in the 4th, along with new track record holder Ethel Is Here in the finale 15th. Sit back and enjoy the entertainment. Here are the top races I’ll be following for the Matinee at “The Beach.”
Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards
The race of the day without a doubt.
Last years Track Champion #2 KB’s Like A Fox from top Kennel Rader Racing is back competing and many fans are thrilled about it.
The 43 time all time winner co-owns the track record here (16.38 secs) and has been one of the best greyhounds at the track these past two seasons but will have heavy competition to deal with today.
The new King of the super sprint is no doubt #8 Nikita’s First from the Janie Carroll Kennel. Your current wins leader with 13 of them and has been completely dominant lately. Has three straight wins over “The Fox” as well.
It’s a toss up here. Better box and history tell me Fox gets back to the winner’s circle here.
Picks 2-8-3-4

Race 10 Grade A 545 Yards
Look out for the Puppy Stakes Finalist #2 Albatross.
The Rader Racing phenom is starting to seriously sizzle, with three wins in four starts and just coming off a blistering 29.39 secs W. Loves the inside and looks to be in a perfect spot here.
Long shot play could come from #1 CRT Quin from the Champions Racing Team. “White Lightning” has one of the best backstretch runs of any racer here and could steal this if there is any trouble early.
Albatross looks too strong to back away from a play in this one. Inside jailbreak for me.
Picks 2-3-1-4
Race 15 Grade TA 660 Yards
The one to watch on the 3/8ths mile for the next year to come will be #3 Ethel Is Here from the Janie Carroll Kennel. When you break a record that has stood for 24 years, attention is imminent.
The hound that owns the top three races times this season at this distance will look to get back to top form after stumbling last time out.
A nice rival for the new record holder has been #7 HS Bobaruskee from Rader Racing. Was the runner up to Ethel’s historic run, but did get his revenge last time out, winning in 37.71 secs. Might get a nice price on the outside this afternoon with the public heavily favoring the new superstar Ethel.
I’ll take Ethel. Actually…I’ll take Ethel pretty much every time she starts this season.
Picks 3-7-2-8
Top Pick Race 10- #2 Albatross
