Greyhound Preview: Palm Beach for 5/21/2014

15 fantastic races comes your way for the Wednesday racing at Palm Beach. Season wins leader KB’s Like A Fox headlines the card in Race 4, along with some very competitive races all afternoon long to watch, play and enjoy. Here are the top races I will be following for the Matinee at “The Beach.”
Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards
All eyes will be on one of the biggest superstars around in #8 KB’s Like A Fox. With the Season Wins Championship all locked up for Fox, the big question is how many wins can this super sprinter get before the season ends June 30th? Going for win #35 and 4 wins in the last 5 races, he should easily be able to outclass this field. Watch the sprint legend at work in this one.

Race 6 Grade B 545 Yards
Probably the most competitive race of the Matinee. #1 Superior JebBush from B & B Racing gets the prime 1 box to fire out of for only the second time in his young career. Last time in it…a five length convincing win going away. I like the former Florida Governor named racer for the W here but it won’t be easy.
#3 Budz Lava Girl and #5 Kanes KenGriffey are both dropping from the top class, which produces a high percentage of ticket hits at Palm Beach normally. Lava Girl can really pop the lid and has 14 wins this season for the Douglas Racing Team.
The 1 box gives JebBush the advantage and gets the young racer his 5th win.

Race 15 Grade A 545 Yards
#4 JS Froot Loops from owner Shannon Henry is setup to go here. Sitting in an excellent spot mid track and gets a Grade A field that isn’t very strong. Has gone 29.39 secs for a best time this season and possesses one of the top closes at Palm Beach.
#1 Lil Buddy Rocky is the top prospect who may have a say in whether Froot Loops runs away with the Finale. Rocky had won 6 of his first 12 races before the last two poor showings. Is still a young racer learning this course and gets the 1 box. Could be dangerous.
