What a lineup to start off the weekend at Palm Beach this afternoon! The #1 racer here JS SpeedyPebbles highlights the card in the finale 15, going for career win #35. Along with fellow superstars CRT Leyla, JS Froot Loops and Ninis Chipotle going head to head in the 6th, this should be a fantastic day of racing all afternoon long. World famous track announcer Mike Jameson will be calling home the winners today.Here are the top races I will be following for the Friday Matinee at “The Beach.”
Race 6 Grade A 545 Yards
This is the race of the day without a doubt.
Three of the top greyhounds currently racing at Palm Beach will square off in a superstar matchup that could be an all-star race.
#5 CRT Leyla from The Champions Racing looks setup to go here. Has been in the money in every start since April and has the very rare combo of dynamic rush and close. Also loves mid-track and just blazed a 29.57 secs W last time out.
SpeedyPebbles sister #3 JS Froot Loops from owner Shannon Henry may have the best close going right now at the track. Came back from seven lengths back at the tote board to take the win in her last start and has been very impressive so far this season.
#1 Ninis Chipotle started off strong when the season started, but will need to bolt out of the rail box to have any chance today.
CRT Leyla gets her 5th win of the season after this one.

Race 9 Grade J 545 Yards
Only thing that would get me excited about a Juvenile race is a hot puppy prospect. Lucky for me, there’s two of them in the same race.
#6 PFannys Timber T from top Kennel Rader Racing just blitzed a 29.82 secs, ten length win last time out. Rader dogs early in their careers statistically have always ran well here at Palm. Is undefeated at school and at work and will look to continue that this afternoon.
#1 MRF Getting Even from B & B Racing gets the prime 1 box to fire out of today. 29.68 secs is unreal for a greyhound’s first official day at work but that’s exactly what she posted last time out. Looks to prefer mid-track, which only puts her in the money for me today.
Timber T stays undefeated and continues her climb up the grade ladder.

Race 15 Grade A 545 Yards
You know the “Queen of Palm Beach” is upset about her two straight Place finishes.
#5 JS SpeedyPebbles will look to keep her unheard of streak of 18 straight Quinela finishes alive today. Is tied for the wins lead on the season with five W’s so far.
Look out for #6 Kebo Kool Taboga from owner Gary Samuels, who just scorched the competition with a 5 length victory in her last start out of this same box.
It's hard to see SpeedyPebbles not winning in three straight. I see her getting back to the winner’s circle where she belongs in the finale today.
