April 5th, 2014

This evening's program looks to be full of great racing duels with some very good wagering opportunities to put cash in your pocket. Enjoy the races and good luck to all.

Race 6 - This is a grade A race over the 583 yard course and features the (1) KB'S Rocket City who loves the inside. He is a strong AA greyhound who has dropped back to A grade and is sitting on the rail for this race. Following him across the finish line I believe will be the (8) Par Super Dee who gave a great effort from this box a few races back. Also in the chase should be the (7) Sakkara Me O My who likes it mid to wide and who will be closing fast at the finish. For a longshot to complete the superfecta play I will include the early speed (2) JT Redneck Romeo.

Picks: 1 - 8 - 7 - 2

Race 7 - A grade D race over the 703 yard course has the hard running and fast closing young pup (8) T'S Boss Hoss who may be last at the break but flying at the finish and a definite threat to win this one. He is in against a couple of double drop greyhounds but watching him lately he certainly has the ability to catch them in the stretch. The (3) Throw Me A Bone was running AA races last year and seems to be getting back in form with good efforts in his last two races. I like the (7) Oshkosh Flossie to try and go early here and but she seems to be having early trouble on the turn so I will also use the early speed (6) Uhlastik just in case.

Picks: 8 - 3 - 7 - 6

Race 9 - This grade M race over the 583 yard course has a speedster who's time has come today to get a win after finishing 2nd in his first three maiden attempts. I am speaking of the (3) RC Blacksmith and though I like him to win, I will be using him in quinielas as well. Another promising young pup that I like here is the (4) PJ Jelly Time who had a lot of trouble in her 2 previous races but did show potential with a win in her last schooling race despite trouble in that one as well. Sitting in the (8) box is Braska Ada who likes it mid to wide and may go early here. Also showing an impressive schooling race last time out is the (7) AhRidgeUhNull who won by 9 1/2 lengths and he likes it midtrack also.

Pick : 3 - 4 - 8 - 7

Race 11 - In this grade AA race over the 583 yard course I am going with the (3) Atascocita Gray this time out. In his last 37 races he has 25 quiniela finishes including 17 wins. This is a very competive field and the (8) Manhatin is posted well to make a big run should the 3 encounter any trouble at all. The (1) HL'S Travis and the (5) Mega Vast will fill out the ticket as both are worthy of a tri or superfecta play.

Picks: 3 - 8 - 1 - 5

Tonight's Moneymaker play is in the 15th race, a grade SAA race over the 820 yard course and is the (6) Boc's Blast Off. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone.
