Harness racing: Hoosier Park picks for March 26

Opening night, March 26 at Hoosier Park, will bring back top trotters, pacers, and horsemen for another full season of harness racing.

Let’s look at the program for plays that fit in any type of wager.

Race 8

#1 Little Rocket Man and #6 Crook Boyzz finished first and second, respectively, last time out in a strong qualifying race.

Another worthy entry is #10 Maxdaddy Blue Chip, who will leave from the second row, behind the No. 1 post. He ships in from Pompano, where he won at a level equal to this one.

Race 11

Another sharp qualifying prep was recorded by #4 Ultimaroca. He finished second by a whisker, in the same time as the winner, last time out March 20.

This race is laden with non-winners, and Ultimaroca comes in revved up and fresh.

Race 12

#4 New Talent enters off a head qualifier win and is from the barn of Jeff Cullipher, who has been on fire at Meadowlands. The public may heavily back #2 Peter Dalt, who has shipped in from a loss in Florida.
