Haskell 2016 has finally arrived and this year’s edition is proving to be just as exciting as last year’s run up to American Pharoah’s triumph in his first start back since sweeping the Triple Crown.
A half-dozen runners will line up in Sunday’s $1 million contest at Monmouth Park, including the top three from the Kentucky Derby – champion Nyquist, Preakness winner Exaggerator and Louisiana Derby victor Gun Runner.
