Holland's North American free racing picks for Nov. 3

Race 3

#4 Spaceman (6-1) made some progress into a slow pace when fourth in his latest over the track and distance at this level last month. Gelding has won one of six starts on this oval and trainer Coletti has won with 12% of his starters at this meet. Son of Mad Flatter should find faster fractions to close into with Pennington retaining the mount.

Race 7

Coletti wins with 16% of his first-time starters and saddles #9 Jack n’ Ice (10-1), a debuting daughter of new sire Peace and Justice, who is a son of War Front. Filly is out of a Lion Heart mare who has produced one winner and has posted some sharp works for Coletti, who wins with 17% of his maiden claimers. Bay appears ready for a good first outing with Salgado riding.

Race 9

#7 The Right Path (5-1) has been freshened since finishing fourth in an even effort over one mile at Delaware in early August. Son of Quality Road has a record of 3-1-0-2 on this oval and trainer Duarte wins with 24% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and has won with 21% of his starters this year. Gelding can be stalking the early pace with Ocasio in the saddle.

Indiana Grand

Race 10

Maidens include #5 Bumble of Love (8-1) made some progress when fifth in his latest over 5 1/2 furlongs in her latest here in late September in her first outing since his debut last November. Daughter of Hampton Court is a half-sister to five winners and trainer Michael wins with 10% of his runners second time off a layoff. Filly may show more here with Prescott remaining aboard.
