Horse Racing Tournament Weekend Recap
A dreadful winter storm hit most of the country last week and forced several cancellations at tracks that TwinSpires had planned to have horse racing tournaments at. However, we were still able to complete an exciting $600 KDBC Qualifier on Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs.
That contest had 57 entries and gave away three seats to the Kentucky Derby Betting Challenge. Starting with a bankroll of $300, a shocking 10 entries finished with a bankroll of at least $1,000.

This weekend's horse racing tournaments' big winners
Ultimately, Howard Kravets, Joseph Carnevale, and Vincent Pitonzo finished strong in a close battle to take away the KDBC seats. Lawrence Bergen took home a nice consolation prize of $2,100 for finishing in 4th place after hitting an all-in Win bet in the last race.
Congratulations to Matt Miller and Brian Ford for their high ROI during tournaments last week as well.

General Tournament FAQ
How do horse racing tournaments even work?
Horse racing tournaments operate differently than standard parimutuel betting. Instead of wagering against the track's house pool, players compete against one another to earn the highest bankroll or point total within a specific set of races.
