How to bet the 2026 Pasadena Stakes

#6 Unrivaled Time, one of two in the field for trainer Leonard Powell, was sharp in taking the Cecil B. Demille (G3) at Del Mar two back prior to kicking off his 2026 campaign with a third-place result in the Eddie Logan S. on this surface last time out. By Not This Time, the talented late runner attempted to rally into a slow pace in his latest performance and will receive a healthier tempo to run at late on this occasion. The California-bred bay has posted a handful of well-spaced drills in advance of this and will be arriving on the scene late with regular pilot Diego Herrera in the irons. 

Bob Baffert’s #2 Greenwich Village displayed a big turn of foot when taking the Baffle S. in his first run on the green last time and looms large in his second grassy attempt. The $350,000 son of Quality Road is cut out to be a runner on the sod, and he looked the part last time when running down a good field inside the final furlong. The Kentucky-bred colt drew well for his first route race, and the bay will be a menacing figure turning for home with Juan Hernandez on board. 

#9 Iriseach, one of two in the cast for top turf trainer Phil D’Amato, was second to my top pick two back at Del Mar prior to checking in fourth in the Eddie Logan in his latest endeavor. The Irish-bred bay will need improvement off the short layoff, but if the sophomore runs to his wicked morning move last weekend, then he will be a contender late at a nice price. The Ubettabelieveit colt will be running on late under the guidance of Antonio Fresu.
