How to bet the Pick 4 on Million Preview day at Arlington Park

The second piece of advice is to narrow where you're confident and spread where you're not. For me, that's in races 1, 4, 6, and 9 (coincidentally the first and last legs of each of the Pick 4s).
For the early Pick 4, that's a 2x3 double relying on the debut runners in race 1 and the proven stakes fillies in the Beverly D. prep.
For the late Pick 4, that's a 1x2 double relyong on The Pizza Man to deliver win, and the last-race allowance to run to form. Singling The Pizza Man also allows us to play the Pick 5 on races 5-9.
To recap the Million preview races, we're confident in our Modesty and Stars & Stripes opinions but hoping for some prices in the Million and Secretariat preps. He's not a single, but even at half his morning line odds, Oscar Nominated intrigues today, and he is the top pick in there at a decent price. I also picked Ramsey on top in the Modesty. Could be a big day for the owner who dreams of Royal Ascot glory.
