How to bet the Twin Bridges Stakes

A talented and well-matched field of 10 fillies and mares will run six panels on the Ellis Park dirt in Monday’s $150,000 Twin Bridges S. I can make a case for multiple ladies in the heat and will spread my tickets with a few of the contenders in the group.
Twin Bridges Wagers
#4 Fibber (9-5) has won or placed in six of seven since being claimed in May of 2024, which includes a smart stakes tally on the oval in August. Trained by Chris Hartman, the Frosted filly is two-for-two on the local course and has been training in rapid fashion in advance of her first appearance since February. The four-year-old filly has the tactical speed to always be in range turning for home in her races, and if she runs to her works, then the Kentucky-bred will be a major threat late with Joe Ramos in the silks.
#7 Asternia (10-1) is the likely pacesetter in the cast and has to be given a long look over a surface that tends to play well to early types, in general. Randy Morse's trainee was an allowance second at Churchill Downs last time after setting rapid early fractions, and she will be dangerous if she clears her foes in the early going beneath Tyler Gaffalione.
